This is the desk where I design, film, and build my business. Every piece is something I use daily.
Some of these are affiliate or sponsor links. I only work with brands I use and trust. Nothing here is for show, just what works.
The desk
The Oakywood Desk Pro is the base of everything. The monitor floats on an Ergotron arm, so the desk surface stays clear, and the shelf lifts the small things off the table.
One dock connects the laptop to everything else, so switching between working and packing up takes a single cable.
Display and lighting
Most of my day is spent looking at this screen, so it was the one place I didn't want to compromise. Before the XDR I used an LG 32-inch for years, and it's still a great option for less money.
The light bar and a warm desk lamp keep the desk comfortable in the evenings without lighting up the whole room.
Keyboard, mouse and audio
I switch between the Mode Sonnet and a Keychron K2 with custom switches, depending on the day. The MX Master 3S stays no matter which keyboard is out.
For sound, Audioengine speakers on the desk and AirPods Max when I need to focus.
Small things on the desk
These are the small things that keep the desk tidy: a pen, a cup, a tray and a place for the headphones. The Analog cards from Ugmonk hold my three tasks for the day.
Shelves and pegboard
The wall above the desk holds everything I don't need every minute. The pegboard keeps cables, notebooks and small tools in reach, and the shelves are for books and plants.
Filming gear
I film my videos at this desk too. The Sony A7IV and FX3 do most of the work, and the X100VI comes with me when I leave the house.
Audio and lights for video
The SM7B is for voice-overs and calls, and the DJI Mic 2 and NTG5 are for anything filmed away from the desk. The amaran and Godox lights shape the room when the camera is on.
